Overview
The Leadership for Health and Care Professionals is a 4 day module that aims to encourage critical reflection on the practice of leadership, applying critical theory to concept of leadership, predominantly in a health and care services setting, and provide health and care professionals with the opportunity to reflect on personal experiences of leadership roles and to re-appraise their experience in the light of leadership theories in the literature.
This will include defining the values of the professional/practitioner role, critically appraising different theories of leadership, sharing relevant experiences and developing the confidence and ability to reflect on and change one’s own leadership methods in the real world.
